This class is for new moms to help reconnect to their bodies and to other new moms. Babies under 6 months are welcome.
Postnatal yoga helps women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy. Poses will help mom recover and reconnect to their core as well as focusing on rebuilding strength in the abdomen, back, and pelvis muscles. The class will work on flexibility, opening the chest, neck, and shoulders as well as soothing muscles from nursing and caring for baby. Postnatal Yoga gives moms the opportunity to feel both physically and mentally supported by the community. A huge benefit of this class is being able to connect with other moms with similar experiences during this unique period of early motherhood. Babies are welcome as long as they are not yet mobile!
